The Dasara festivities in Mangaluru were full of excitement this year as popular Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt made a star-studded appearance, much to the delight of his fans. Arriving in style on a private jet, Sanjay first visited the Kateel Durga Parameshwari temple to offer his prayers. He then made his way to the Biruver Kudla grounds to take part in the Oodhu Pooja ceremony associated with the traditional tiger dance, creating a buzz among the onlookers. Fondly welcomed by fans as ‘Sanju Baba’, he expressed his happiness, stating, “I am thrilled to be here in Mangaluru,” and commended the warm hospitality of the locals. Sanjay reassured his well-wishers about his health and shared his enthusiasm for the captivating tiger dance performances. To the audience's delight, he delivered his famous Pachaas tola dialogue, earning a thunderous round of applause. Wrapping up his visit with a visit to the Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, Sanjay then returned to Mumbai in time to offer his condolences to the family of the late Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique.
